Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: As executive director of NCHEC, I have been involved with national projects on competency validation projects and have co-authored several peer reviewed journal articles on quality assurance and competency related issues. Under my leadership, the CHES certification earned accreditation by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), meeting vigorous industry-wide standards for certification and has now introduced an advanced level of certification known as the Master Certified Health Education Specialist.
