Victims of agent orange relief act

Fifty years ago the United States sprayed approximately 19 million gallons of 15 different herbicides, including 13 million gallons of Agent Orange over south Vietnam. Between 2.1 and 4.8 million Vietnamese were exposed during the spraying and many more continue to be exposed through the environment. The Vietnam Agent Orange Relief and Responsibility Campaign, formed in 2005, is a national coalition of US veterans, Vietnamese Americans, labor leaders, peace activists, clergy, scientists, artists, and other community leaders. We are working to obtain congressional support for legislation that addresses the ongoing health problems of the United States veterans, their progeny, the Vietnamese and Vietnamese Americans harmed by the use of Agent Orange/dioxin. This legislation offers an opportunity to heal the suffering and wounds from the Vietnam conflict.
