The speaker will introduce the following topics to participants: 1) a definition of positive youth development, 2) positive youth outcomes 3) a framework for understanding levels of youth engagement, and 4) linkages between youth development and public health outcomes. The speaker will give examples of youth development programs engaged in public health promotion.
