Hands-on practice: Telling the story


Saturday, November 2, 2013 : 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

After storytellers have been selected, participants will work in small groups to design individual interview guides that cover the main objectives of the study or intervention, and continue to explore the material shared by the individual during the story development group. With these guides, participants will proceed to film an individual interview and explore ways of obtaining good stories from participants. The Instructors will provide camera equipment and lighting.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I was trained as a film maker in 1995. I have been a creative contributor of six federally and privately funded story telling interventions. I use my undergraduate psychology training with my graduate degrees in art and training in graphical interface design to create the best story telling package.
