In the third decade of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, many public health practitioners and funders have shifted their focus from keeping the uninfected from contracting HIV to providing prevention skills to those already living with HIV and AIDS. "Prevention for positives" will be the focus of presentations during this session. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to: 1. Recognize 3 essential components of the "prevention for positives" intervention strategy. 2. Evaluate the efficacy of 3 strategies for HIV prevention among positive individuals. | |||
