Public policy, legislation, and stigma all have significant effects on the lived experiences of individuals and communities living with HIV/AIDS, globally. Human rights aspects of those living with HIV/AIDS will be discussed during this session. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to: 1. Recognize the human rights concerns for those living with HIV/AIDS in 4 different countries outside the United States. 2. Analyze the intersection of public policy, human rights, and HIV/AIDS education efforts in international settings. | |||
