This presentation will highlight the important consideration in community based research from global perspective. It will attempt to translate complex ethical concepts into best practices within international communities.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand the the different parameters to consider in community-based research.
• Describe factors in developing countries that must be considered.
• Provide specific examples of research programs that have and have not taken these issues into account.
