The science necessary to understand Environmental Health and Safety issues related to Nanomaterials will not be available for an estimated 15 years. Clean Production Action analyze research policy and market development to identify and promote the best technical, academic and industry expertise on clean production. CPA works with environmental and public health advocates, trade unions and progressive companies and governments round the world who share a commitment to sustainable and socially just material use.
Ms. Thorpe will provide an overview of international concerns of public health risk and community response to nanotech manufacturing and production facilities.
