Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to-
- Describe the reasons one would consider a qualitative field interview, identify interview types, and choose a style of interviewing to be used for the data that are needed

- Identify transcription techniques that are appropriate to a desired analysis

- Assess a set of transcripts for adequacy and appropriate representation of interview data, and generate a framework for coding a set of transcripts (and assess shared coding, independent coding)

- Build a model based on a completed analysis, based on organized and sorted codes, and select a validation frame to test the model
