Responding to Homelessness in the Wake of Katrina
The purpose of this presentation is to make the audience aware of what organizations are doing about homelessness following Hurricane Katrina. . It will also give specific example-from the eye of the hurricane and efforts to deal with health and mental health issues. This is relevant to the audience interested in homelessness and responses to hurricanes and is an important issue that has been studied for many years in the United States and worldwide.
Learning Objectives: At the completion of the session the learner will be able to: 1)Discuss responses to homelessness following Hurricane Katrina.
