Reproductive Rights are Human Rights

Reproductive rights are human rights. This session will tackle the tough questions associated with reproductive rights in the U.S. and throughout the world. This session will feature contributed papers from authors who are trying to preserve and improve reproductive rights.

Learning Objectives: By the end of the session, the participant will be able to (1) describe the relationship between reproductive rights and human rights; (2) articulate the need for preservation and improvement of reproductive rights in developed and developing nations; (3) describe the role of public health and medical professionals in ensuring reproductive rights; and (4) identify strategies for change to improve the health of women, children, and families.
