Community and Agency Perspectives on Campus-Community Partnerships for Research and Education
Participants of this session will better understand the strengths and challenges of creating community-based partnerships for public health research and practice, and will be hear about strategies for overcoming some of the challenges of establishing and maintaining effective partnerships.
Learning Objectives: At the end of the session, participants will be able to: 1. Identify principles and practices for establishing effective community-academic partnerships; 2. Discuss challenges for community-based research partnerships; and 3. Apply strategies of effective partnerships to their own research or practice.
