Attendees will also participate in the general workshop to discuss organization, affiliate structure, project and network development. The purpose is to solicit ideas and actions from all attendees as well as examine specific action to form medicine, health professional, and public health collaborating initiatives in your own communities and areas of interest.

Learning Objectives:

• Provide the historic evolution, accomplishments and pitfalls for collaboration, particularly as we chart the future. In addition to provide specific examples of developing public health networks as applied to cardiovascular disease prevention through collaborative action plans.
