Role of pharmacists in improving the appropriate use of medications

As part of a session on the roles and responsibilities of health professionals in health literacy improvement, this presentation will focus on pharmacists and their staff. The presentation will examine the critical role of pharmacists in identifying, understanding and addressing the health literacy challenges of consumers and patients related to the appropriate use of medications.
