| The APHA Film Festival returns this year after a ten year hiatus. In this session, sponsored by the International Health Section, a collection of independent documentary films that explore a range of international health issues will be shown. Facilitated discussion following the screening will focus on the importance of visual media in raising awareness of health issues, and on how visual media can be incorporated into public health practice. |
| Learning Objectives: As a result of attending, participants will have increased knowledge of the topics raised in the films; and will understand the vital role that
film and video can play in addressing public health issues. |
