Public health problems, such as cardiovascular disease and antibiotic resistance, are not unique to urban areas, but addressing these problems in rural communities may encounter particular challenges. The panelists in this session will describe a number of programs that work in rural areas to address specific health issues. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be able to describe some of the health promotion challenges in rural communities and will be able to identify programs that specifically target these areas, in accordance with the learning objectives of the individual presentations. | |||
