Disparities and Diabetes
Diabetes is widely recognized as a critical cause of morbidity and mortality in this country. Issues of disparities in care and education further complicate the picture of diabetes. The panelists in this session will present a number of programs to address diabetes and diabetes care among special populations.
Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be able to identify key issues in diabetes management and describe the disparities in diabetes care. Participants will be able to fulfill the learning objectives of the individual presentations.
