This oral session will present results of studies addressing drug treatment disparities among African Americans living with HIV/AIDS and health outcomes by race of clients in Los Angeles County. In addition there will be presentations on the willingness of African Americans to participate in HIV/AIDS preventive vaccine trials, the effect of HIV/AIDS on African-American college students, and a discussion on black masculinity, sexual identity, and HIV. | |||
