Improving Community Health Through Faith and Health Partnerships
The purpose of this session is to expose participants to methods utilized,in diffent faith settings, to address a variety of health issues. Recognizing the importance of faith/spirituality these partnerships increase the potential for broader community outreach. This session provides examples of the potential of these partnerships to improve community health.
Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be able to : 1) Discuss 3 approached to improving community health through faith and health partnerships 2) Describe methods utilized to evaluate these partnerships 3)List three challenges and three opportunites for faith health partnerships
