This presentation will review the recent and drammatic growth of the environmental health infrastructure in Nebraska. A growth model resulting from a combination of strategic planning, funding infusion, advocacy, and legislative action resulted in a doubling of the local public health infrastructure and achieving nearly 100% statewide coverage. Key milestones in this process, its general timeline, and related observations will be highlighted during the discussion.
