Learning Objectives: After viewing this poster session, viewers will be able to

• Identify specific strategies, programs or initiatives that states have used to address key issues in their states.
• Articulate the key issues facing each state relative to health promotion programs for people with disabilities.
• Assess how health promotion strategies and interventions are transferable to other states, disability organizations, researchers and external partners.
• Recognize strategies to gain attention of state policymakers to ensure a place on the states's public health agenda for health promotion and wellness programs for people with disabilities.
