Consumers Perspective of the Background and nature of the issues dealing with mental health, substance abuse, trauma and residential stability of the CMHS/CSAT Homeless Families Program’s Cross-Site Study and Site Specific Studies

Consumer involvement in the SAMHSA Homeless Families Initiative has provided opinions and perspective since the start of the study. This presentation will describe consumer viewpoints on the background and nature of the issues many homeless women deal with, including mental health, substance abuse, trauma and residential stability. Particular attention will be paid to the National and local consumer panels perspectives on the early study results of the Homeless Families Initiative.
