National Quality Measures Clearinghouse (NQMC): Strategic Tool for Developing Quality Improvement Approaches

The National Quality Measures Clearinghouse(tm) (NQMC(tm)), sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is a database and web site for information on evidence-based health care quality measures. Under contract with AHRQ, ECRI (formerly the Emergency Care Research Institute) a nonprofit health services research agency, performs the technical work for NQMC. The presenter, a member of ECRI's NQMC team and a health services research analyst, will describe NQMC(tm) and show how it can be used as a tool for developing quality improvement approaches. A PowerPoint presentation including diagrams and graphs will be used to support the talk.
