Ethnic and Racial Disparities Contributed Papers: Empiric Studies
Racial and ethnic disparities in health and health care have been well described. This session presents new empiric studies that go beyond simple description. Papers examine social determinants that contribute to disparities in health and receipt of preventive services and disparities in quality of health care related to asthma, pneumonia, and the CMS Quality Indicators.
