Partnerships for Health
These poster explore the various advantages, difficulties and challenges of academic/public and private partnerships. Some special approaches to asthma are discussed. Regional Networks across the country will be presented. Universities working with community coalitions will be presented as they work with minority populations.
Learning Objectives: Posters will: 1)present tensions and benefits of academic-community partnerships; 2)identify key elements and explicit policies in community-academic partnerships; and 3)examine the Regional Networks in regions across the country.
