| In this session GIS use will be demonstrated to assess youth protection against substance abuse and violence by using spatial modeling. Using similar techniques to explore health care access issues in cancer control efforts and diabetes will be discussed. | |||
| Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to describe geographic information system technology; 2)understand calculating an SIR acroos 1900 and 2000 census tracts; and 3)identify use of GIS in environmental influences in diabetes. | |||
