The Emergent Majority: Will we have the data?
This session will provide APHA participants with an opportunity to hear findings from a Congressionally mandated study by the National Academy of Sciences on racial, ethnic and socioeconomic status data needs for the Department of Health and Human Services. Key barriers to collecting and reporting racial and ethnic data and the rationale for continued collection of racial and ethnic data to improve public health will be shared.
