Deficits vs. Public Mandates: State Public Coverage Programs under Stress

This session will include a review of provisions from recent Federal budget actions affecting State Medicaid and SCHIP programs. The presenter will give a compendium of how major states have responded to their own budget deficits and how national health care constituent groups have assessed the impact of continued federal budgetary pressures on their respective contituencies.
