Dyan Campbell, MPH, PRASAD Children's Dental Health Program, National Director PRASAD Children's Dental Health Program, 465 Brickman Road, Hurleyville, NY 12747, 845-434-0376, dyanc@prasad.org

PRASAD Children's Dental Health program has 2 mobile dental clinics that provide comprehensive dental services to low income children in San Jose California and Sullivan County New York. Sustainable funding for the programs is a challenge. A fantastic fund raising event was created called Tour de Smile. It was a 4,200+ mile bike relay, for 65 days,(7/11/03-9/14/03) passing a large toothbrush baton. The route was from San Jose CA to Sulivan County NY, passing through 13 states. Partnerships with CDC, Oral Health America and others helped deliver the message to the media about the status of dental disease in our children. Come learn about our challenges, successes and the wonderful things that occurred during our Tour.
