In an effort to address racial disparities in health, this session will focus on cultural beliefs and health practices in areas where AFrican Americans are at particularly high risk - cancer and hypertension. Research will be presented on particpation in screening programs, targeted interventions, and use of complementary and alternative therapies. | |||
