Healthy People 2010 (HP2010) identifies disease prevention and health promotion objectives for the nation. Several dynamic organizations are capitalizing upon the opportunities of HP2010, partnering with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and contributing to the national efforts to improve the health of the nation and its communities. In this presentation, the participants will address the innovative ways in which they are translating and implementing HP2010 and their organization is spearheading innovative programs to achieve the HP targets. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the presentation, participants will: 1. Understand how organizations are translating using HP2010 and the Leading Health Indicators into opportunities for action; 2. Understand what innovative activities organizations are undertaking to improve the health of the nation. 3.
