This session will address issues in access to care for vulnerable,underserved populations. Papers will be presented on initiatives to reduce racial disparities in health, community health centers as cost-effective points of access, and targeted community-based programs. | |||
Learning Objectives: 1. Describe federally funded projects addressing disparities in health care access and use among Medicaid-enrolled minority populations 2. Analyze cost benefits of community health centers over other frequent points of access for care 3. Discuss program efforts to increase access to care for targeted underserved populations | |||
