Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to: 1. Recognize bullying behavior and its effect on girls. 2. Apply a framework for assessing the contribution of sexual abuse to the health and well-being of young women. 3. Understand the role of sexual abuse in the development of high risk behaviors among adolescent females. 4. Describe the effective outreach tactics of the Young Women’s Empowerment Project; a harm-reduction based project for girls involved in the sex trade and street economies.
