Learning Objectives:

• Raise the awareness of public health as a career option for African-American, Hispanic and Native American undergraduate nutrition students.
• b. Eliminate racial/ethnic disparities by increasing the number of future nutrition practitioners to meet the needs of our changing and diverse population.
• c. Promote APHA to existing nutrition practitioners in public health who are unaware of APHA’s vision, mission, and goals.
• d. Strengthen APHA by increasing the membership in the Food and Nutrition Section.
