Abstract #52694

Panel Discussion

Laura Linnan, ScD, Dept. of Health Behavior and Health Education, University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, CB #7440, Chapel Hill, NC 27599-7440, 919-843-8044, linnan@email.unc.edu and Allan Steckler, DrPH, Health Behavior and Health Education, University of North Carolina, CB# 7400, 302 Rosenau Hall, School of Public Health, Chapel Hill, NC 27599-7400.

A panel of 4-5 presenters who have successfully designed and/or implemented a process evaluation effort will share their experiences, and report lessons learned. Each presenter will begin with a 7-minute description of their process evaluation effort, and will share up to 5 lessons learned. Each panelist will provide a one-page fact sheet on the overall project, list of lessons learned, and will share relevant sample process evaluation forms with the participants. We plan to balance the panel so that different types of projects, settings, size of projects, and topics addressed are included. After each panel member presents, we will allow approximately 10-15 minutes for questions. A final summary sheet that presents key components of a model process evaluation effort will be distributed by faculty presenters. (methods: panel presentation, summary Q&A)
