- Assess the role of industry in funding basic science and clinical investigation related to drug development.
- Articulate ethical issues which arise consequent to increasing links between academia and industry.
- Develop recommendations for effective investigator-industry, policy maker-industry, and provider-industry relationships.
- Articulate ways in which health professionals can work collaboratively with industry to benefit patients.
