The Ohio Public Health Association received a challenge grant for 2001 for the proposal entitled “Addressing Disparities in Ohio.” Major goals included educating public health professionals on the issue of health disparities and stimulating more support for public health association issues by bolstering membership and developing a wider communication network. A major activity was to collaborate with the Ohio Department of Health to put on a conference to achieve the goals.
Proposed content
The poster will contain the following pieces of information:
· Grant goals · Activities that were conducted · How well goals were achieved (evaluation) · How to access presentation given at conference (resources) · Materials produced (newsletters, conference brochure, etc.)
