How workplace drug testing programs divert health and safety resources
Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be able to
- Understand the concerns of workers and unions on the problems of drug testing programs.
- Recognize how drug testing programs can discourage workers from reporting workplace hazards.
- Recognize how companies have come to rely on drug testing programs to replace common sense observations.
- Develop a program which address factors in a way which can positively affect workplace safety and health.
