This session will explore the role of health literacy in achieving natioinal health prmotion and disease prevention goals and objectives. Health literacy affects people's ability to take action to support their health, from primary risk reduction to compliance with medication protocols. Literacy barriers applicable to oral health will be used as an example. | ||||
