The focus of this session is to examine the contribution of social, behavioral and economic factors as they impact the provision of health care, access to care and health outcomes across the lifespan. The presentations in this session address medical care for chronic or acute life-threatening illness. The purpose of this session is to present the results from translational research studies or innovative health programs that have incorporated a social science perspective. The experiences and findings from these approaches can inform health care and enhance public health for diverse populations. | ||||
