Learning Objectives: Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of the session participants will be able to:
· Participants will recognize the importance of systematically planning health communication within the context of a larger public health
intervention.
· Participants will be able to identify the six phases required to systematically conceptualize, plan, develop, test, implement, and evaluate health
communication within the context of a larger public health intervention.
· Participants will learn to use the tools incorporated within the CDROM to assist in developing and implementing a communication plan. These
tools include 1) an on-screen option that enables participants to develop their own health communication plan, 2) information, criteria, and
examples to aid in making informed choices in the process of identifying appropriate planning and evaluation steps and methods; 3) a glossary of
health communication terminology, and 4) resources for health communication planning and evaluation skills. |
