The Committee on Affiliates sponsors a student poster competition each year at the annual meeting to attract and encourage students in Schools of Public Health and related disciplines to share their projects/research in a national setting. Posters must be co-sponsored by students' teacher, faculty advisor, or community trainer. If a poster abstract is accepted for exhibition, both the student and his/her co-sponsor must be (or become) members of APHA in order to exhibit the poster. The student winner of the competition is awarded a $100 cash prize. Deadline for submission of student poster abstracts is May 1, 2001 | ||||
