This poster session explores the public health crisis in Vieques, Puerto Rico, where the United States Navy has been conducting military exercises, including bombing practice, for sixty years. The poster examines the health status of the people and environment of Vieques, Puerto Rico, reviewing studies and other available information to date. The poster also discusses the response of public health professionals worldwide to the situation in Vieques, including the APHA resolution on the matter.
