Strategies for involving Hispanic physicians in cancer research

This presentation will review the history of efforts to create a national Hispanic/Latino research network. We will also describe research domains and pathways that physicians can become involved in various types of research. The role of Hispanic physicians as mentors and mentees in research. Lastly, we will describe funding opportunities for Hispanic/Latino physicians to become involved in researcher

Learning Objectives: 1) Participants will be able to identify historicial events associated with Hispanic cancer control research. 2) Participants will be able to describe explicit methods and results of engaging physicans in cancer control research.
