University of Massachusetts Medical School is collaborating with the Family Health Center and Children’s Hospital, Harvard University, to document and evaluate a community health center–based Homeless Families Health and Support Program (HSP) in Worcester, MA. HSP has ten years experience providing family–oriented case management, primary health care, parent support, and mental health and substance abuse treatment. This presentation will describe the intervention, data on the target population from the Phase I investigation, and the proposed design for the Phase II outcome study.
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to: 1. Describe the services and programs that are being offered as part of the Worcester, Massachusetts, Homeless Families Project and its role in the larger Center for Mental Health Services and Center for Substance Abuse Treatment Homeless Families Initiative.
