This presentation will discuss the similarities and differences of the homeless mothers from each of the study sites involved in the CMHS/CSAT Homeless Families Initiative. During Phase 1, sites collected descriptive information about their study populations using data collection approaches. The target population profiles included: demographic characteristics of mothers and their children, family size and composition, education and work histories, housing histories, history of homelessness, mental health and substance abuse status, trauma history, and health status of mothers and children. This is the first multi-site treatment intervention study focused on homeless families. The presentation will compare study population characteristics across the study sites and with published literature.
