Nature of housing for persons with serious mental illness: Cross-site findings from the CMHS Housing Initiative

The CMHS Housing Initiative has provided an unprecedented opportunity to examine the nature, effectiveness, and costs of a variety of housing approaches for persons with serious mental illness. Dr. Fischer will chair this panel, providing a brief overview of the CMHS Housing Initiative and how the presentations will offer insights into how supported housing and other housing alternatives such as group homes and supervised apartment operate, from the analysis of both cross-site and site specific data.

Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant will be able to: 1. Describe the development and desing of the Center for Mental Health Services Housing Initiative for Persons with Serious Mental illness.
