Objective: To describe characteristics, health and health risks of lesbian, gay and bisexually-identified injection drug users (IDUs) in San Francisco, CA. Methods: IDUs were recruited from street settings in four neighborhoods in 1998-2000 (n=2747). Self-identified lesbian, gay or bisexual IDUs (n=406) were considered for this analysis. Risk behaviors were assesed for past 6 months. Results: (see table). Discussion: Strategies for health interventions with IDUs in the lesbian/gay/bisexual community are needed.
