Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to: 1.List the lead-safe work practices school districts in California must follow to protect maintenance workers and school children. 2.Describe the materials and educational activities being offered to school districts around the state by California's Lead-Safe Schools Project. 3.Describe the lessons learned by the Project regarding implementation of a statewide program to reduce lead hazards in schools.
