Prostitution is increasing world-wide. Women and children are being trafficked across and within nations for the purpose of providing sexual services to men. Although the social and health problems associated with prostitution are enormous, there is almost no consensus as to how these problems should be solved This is because there is no consensus on the very nature of prostitution. The three main perspectives on prostitution will be presented and discussed, and suggestions for change will be made from the radical feminist perspective.
